Minute Entry for proceedings held before Judge Samuel Alba: Detention Hearing as to James Mooney, Linda Mooney held on 6/28/2005. Defendants present with counsel and in custody. The Court noted receipt of pretrial reports as to each of the defendants. Ms. Travis called the following witnesses who were sworn and questioned by counsel: Rodney Holliday, Jeff Vernon Merkey, Jim Pritchard, and Teri Holland. Ms. Corporon invoked the exclusionary rule following the government?s first witness. Defendant's exhibit 1 was marked and admitted as evidence. The Court ordered that Linda Mooney be released with conditions and that James Mooney be detained pending trial. James Mooney was remanded to the USMS.
